The Vice Principal is a key member of the Secondary School Leadership Team, reporting to the Secondary School Principal. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to foster a supportive and high-achieving environment, ensuring the delivery of the IB MYP and DP programmes. Responsibilities include: - Providing effective leadership for staff and students in the Secondary School. - Overseeing student well-being and pastoral care initiatives. - Assisting in the implementation and development of curriculum policies and pedagogical standards. - Leading professional development sessions for teaching faculty. - Managing daily school operations and scheduling to ensure smooth functioning of school activities. - Liaising with parents and the wider school community to build strong partnerships. - Supporting the Principal in strategic planning and school improvement initiatives. - Ensuring compliance with school policies and international educational standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess: A recognized Master's degree in Educational Leadership or a related field. - A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in school leadership, preferably in an international school setting. - Deep knowledge and experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes, particularly the MYP and DP. - A proven track record of effective staff management and pedagogical leadership. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships across the school community. - Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are an asset. - An unwavering commitment to student safety and child protection policies.
